Dahlia had a Ballet dance performance a few weeks ago. She was so precious and we were so proud of her. She has been dying to be on stage for a performance since I took her to a musical in the fall. Where she gets these extroverted tendencies is definitely not from her parents, (apparently it's her Auntie Samantha!). It is so fun to watch her be her own person and get excited and thrive from these experiences that caused me great anxiety as a kid. The best part, for her, was that she got to wear makeup--mascara, blush, eye shadow, and chapstick. This is what she tells anybody who asks her how the performance went. But we can also tell you she was a beautiful butterfly and truly is already a beautiful, focused, and graceful dancer. We know her teachers agree because after the performance, she was promoted three levels in ballet, into a class that is for 7-10 year olds! Holy smokes we are proud of her! However with swim season starting, we're going to take a break from dance classes for the summer and let the fish in Dahlia take a spin.

I am glad she got my extrovertedness and your athleticism :-)
