The new daddy had his 31st birthday on Saturday so we had a few friends over to celebrate. We ate soup, drank beer (non-breastfeeders, that is), passed our sleeping Dahlia around the room, and had Mitchell's Ice Cream cake. I was pretty nervous about having more than 2 people over at one time and being a bad host (due to being a mom who is still learning how to manage taking care of my little one while also still acting like a human) but our friends are awesome and made it super easy. They even cleaned up before they left! None of them have kids yet but when they do, I can't wait to do the same for them! Thank you Jessica, Erik, Shelly, Trent, Cassie, Matthew, and Kevin! Happy birthday hubby!
