We celebrated Milo's first year with a Halloween themed costume party with some of Milo's close friends and family. I've been looking forward to Halloween birthday parties ever since I learned his due date when I was pregnant. So this has been a long time coming! Us Laskies like our Halloweens and now they are going to be even better! Milo the Dragon's friends came dressed up, and many of the grown ups came dressed up, too. We had a super fun afternoon of hanging out in the backyard on the first fall-like day of the year. Milo ate every last crumb of his first cupcake (made by Daddy), and had a fun and happy time. We were worried he may be overwhelmed but he did great. I think it was a smart move to keep the guest list to people he sees often. Plus being at home I'm sure helped him, too. Happy Birthday, Milo-man!
