Summertime

A few highlights of our summer (so far!):

Picnic lunch at the park after swim lessons was our routine

At the beginning of summer we went to L.A. Swinging doesn't get much better than this.

Milo's new big boy carseat box provided days of fun. Here they are at "the store". It's open from 6:30 to 9:00. You can buy anything from fruit, animals, to purses here.

Bath time is together now. Mostly they like it. We still do some solo baths, too because they also really like having the whole tub to themselves.

Growing dahlias was successful this year. It was Matt and D's project. Here's one of the first big blooms.

Nightly tomato harvest with Riley. Matt has been amazing with teaching Dahlia about growing veggies. Every night after dinner they do some harvesting and have a whole ritual about it. I have been very minimally involved, other than helping with eating everything.

Prize tomato from the garden. It was as delicious as it looks.

Dahlia jumping off the diving board. She's bad ass, I have to admit. She often shares this diving board with a group of 8 year old boys and totally holds her own.

Family bike rides have begun!

Dahlia and Milo's first wagon ride together. D has been waiting to share this wagon with her bro for a long time.
