Christmas 2011

We had a great holiday season with lots of family time and relaxing. This was the first year we really experienced the whole Santa fantasy which was super fun once I got over being dishonest with my daughter. It brought back a sense of magic that I remember so well from my childhood. Although Dahlia was tentative about the idea of a man sneaking into our house (smart) and on Christmas morning instead of rushing to see her treasures like I expected, she wanted to cuddle in bed with us and read a book first. Here are some highlights from the week.

Santa brought Dahlia a pink guitar, as requested. We've been enjoying her budding skills. Faves are ABCs, Row, Row, Row, Your Boat and Twinkle Twinkle.
