Some pics from our stay at the hospital and our first days at home...

Dahlia gives her first kisses to her baby brother. And Surprise! Grandma's here! She hadn't planned on being here until November but happened to be in Las Vegas so she jumped on a plane when I was in labor.

Tita and Milo

Tito looking as happy as ever. Milo is piled with his gifts from Dahlia, "Boo Four" and "Doggy."

D holding Milo for the first time.

We're home!

D learning her job as Pacifier Manager. She's very proud of it and takes it quite seriously.

He may be "big" but this sleeper onesie is newborn sized and he's swimming in it. Though I can't say that about all his newborn clothes. Dahlia says he looks like a hanging monkey in this picture.

First family photo!

My boy
Home means something new to us now. There's 4 of us here and it's been so wonderful having time and space to get to know what that's like. Dahlia is simply the best big sister and it has made this transition so amazingly sweet. She is always trying to interact with Milo, giving him his toys, making him cozy, choosing his clothes, and helping with his pacifier. Yes, she's also testing the waters of what she can get away with but we know it's completely normal and are trying to be patient. Milo is awesome. He's eating well, about every 3-4 hours and even giving us some time to sleep at night. He's mellow when he's awake and easy to calm down when he's sad (so far!). His cry sounds like a velociraptor--it's very loud and strong compared to his big sis' newborn cry. But he's so small and precious at the same time. I never could quite imagine what it would be like to have a son, but I'm already feeling like no matter how big he gets over the years, he's going to be my little teeny baby boy.
Congrats! He is adorable. Sounds like things are going well. That is awesome.
