Kauai, July 2011

Annual family shot in Hawaii (Baby Boy is 24 weeks in-utero). My goal is to have one of these every year!

D's first time boogie boarding. She liked trying to stand like a surfer and then jump off.

Jungle girl at Ke'e Beach

Wearing goggles encouraged her to get her face in the salty water. After a couple days, she didn't mind the salt as much and ditched the goggles.
Sand castle making with Tita

Checking out the fishies

Snack break before nap time.

Daily nap on the beach. She never napped at the house.

Hawaiian princess being carried in to the St. Regis Princeville Hotel where we ate an amazing meal viewing the NaPali coast during sunset. Dahlia ordered PBJ and French Fries.

I just like this one.

Dahlia and Tia

Boogie boarding with Daddy in Hanalei Bay

Peek a Boo with Daddy's sun hat.

Big mouth for the helicopter coming in!

Soundtrack of Kauai (on repeat all week) - July, 2011
I don't like big waves. I like little waves. Mommy/Daddy, do you like little waves? Daddy, do you like big boy waves?
I wanna see waterfall. There are 3 waterfalls. Reeeally, reeeeally long waterfalls.
Look at the mountains!
That look a like bamboo. Pandas eat bamboo. Koala bears eat bamboo.
I'm making sand castle. A really big volcano castle.
Go underwater. Close your eyes, close your mouth.
I'm going peepee in the ocean.
I'm going peepee in the sand. I dig a hole.
I wanna go upstairs see Tita/Tito/big bath tub/the gecko.
I'm want to use the blue potty. It's not loud. Like Tita's house. Don't close your ears.
Uh oh, the motorcycle dropped his fins!
This is Dahlia's bridge. It's our turn. It's not your turn.
I wanna snack.
The clouds move away and it's gonna be dark (daawwk). I watch the sunset. Sun goes away. Visit its family.
Uh oh it's raining.
Let's go wake up Tito/Tita/Tia/Tio.
Look at the flowers! That's a dahlia?
Look, there's another jeep! That's a (color) jeep!
Be careful put sunscreen on my owie!
Tia/Tio, do you need aloe?
Daddy, you have sunburn? Put aloe make it better.
