Birthday Party #2!

Over the weekend we celebrated our big girl's birthday . I think it was the biggest party we've hosted at our house thus far, and the birthday girl LOVED every second of it. So far this kid seems to be an extrovert, despite her parents. She played dress up with her friends, danced, and jumped a whole bunch. We did a brunch type of party and had yummy food plus daddy's homemade cupcakes (becoming a tradition) and bloody mary's for the grown ups. It was gorgeous January weather so we were able to go outside and enjoy the sunshine during the sugar-high.

It was so much fun to see Dahlia truly understand it is her birthday. During the singing she got so excited when we got to the part where we say her name-- jumping around in her chair and pointing at herself, so happy it was finally HER birthday. It was overwhelmingly precious.

I was too busy at the party to take many pictures but luckily we had my friend Heather there who provided some wonderful pics of some of the kiddos. These two are a couple of my favorites, plus a slideshow. Heather took all the ones that look the best. Thank you, Heather!
