October Break

We started our vacation off with a visit to Grandma and Grandpa in Boston. We had cold and wet weather but still managed to get to the Aquarium--Dahlia loved the seals ("eeohl! eeohl!") and giant turtles. We also went to a pretty farm where we visited all of Old McDonald's friends. Chickens were the favorite there. Dahlia was an excellent traveler (yes, I'm bragging, because she was amazing!) and had a wonderful time playing with her Grandparents.

Then we came home and had more fun-the highlight being a family trip to the Bay Area Discovery Museum on a beautiful 75 degree Sausalito day.

At 20 months now, our Big D is quite the little talker. She has around 75 words that she uses regularly--about half of them are pronounced accurately. The other half are close enough that we know them (i.e. chee for cheese, uhbul for bubble, teeteetah for tortilla) and sign language still helps, too. And she attempts to say new words all day long. It's a lot of fun and our potty mouths are getting much better.
