The other day somebody asked Dahlia her name and I told them, "Dahlia." The lady said to Dahlia, "Ooooh, like the flower?" Dahlia responded, "Yea!" It was the first time she'd done that. But it won't be the last! I hope to make an annual trip to the San Francisco Dahlia Garden where Dahlia can see and hopefully agree that she is named after a stunning, special flower.
I would have to say it's my new favorite flower. I never noticed them until Dahlia was born. There is house down the street from us that grows them and every time we walk by there I have to stop and stare at them. When I tell Kaylee to look at the Dahlias she says "Da Awws" Well we hope to see you soon.
