Little Bits of Sugar

Dahlia loves to play piano. She will spend quite a bit of time banging around the keys and is starting to be interested in hearing me play her songs--she used to hit my hands away, "Stay away, this keyboard is mine, Mama!" but now it's more, "Oh I know that song!"

She is very into makeup and accessories. I did not do this on purpose, I swear! She knows which accessories belong to mama and which are dada's. Mascara and purses = mama. Belts and glasses = dada. See how proud she is in this photo? She thinks she is a movie star!

She slept like this a lot when she was sick because it helped her breathe better and it helped her parents feel happy even though she was struggling.
