Beaches and Cherries

What a fun weekend we had. It was over 90 degrees in Walnut Creek, which made for some sprinkler fun in the backyard, but we also headed out to the beach. We went to Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands. It was around 70 degrees and as you can see, a beautiful day. Dahlia loved the ocean even though it was burning our feet off it was so cold. She didn't care in the least! She just kept signing, "more please, more please" whenever the waves splashed her.

This last pic is from her cherry extravaganza on Saturday. This was after an eventful afternoon of barfing an entire day's worth of food all over mama while waiting to get on the carousel at Tilden Park. Don't know what it was--heat, watching the carousel going round and round, or the large bottle of milk she drank right beforehand, but wow. Barf-o-rama, all over, ALL OVER mama and herself. She was totally fine afterwards. But we did not make it onto the carousel. When we got home, she took off her diaper (barf was hiding inside it) and then proceeded to pee on the floor and her new shoes. Cherries for dessert helped make it all better--for everyone! We love you, Dahlia. Won't ever forget that experience.
