Holidays 2013

It's been awhile since our last posting. It's now 2014 and life is slowing down and getting back to normal after the whirlwind of holidays and celebrations in November and December. Highlights!:
Xmas Crew 2013

Back in November Dahlia made a beautiful menorah.
The kids really enjoy lighting the menorah every night during Hanukkah. It was nice to have Hanukkah start before the Christmas season this year so it got it's own attention for a few days. Dahlia feels very special she celebrates Hanukkah AND Christmas. All her school friends would say Happy Hanukkah to her and only her, which she loved.
We had Milo's first trip to the E.R. during December, a result of an intense bout of croup. Thankfully after some steroids and 3 rounds of breathing treatments the docs let us take him home. I never thought I'd know the E.R. so well. I now recognize nurses and doctors and security guards. The little guy was a very good patient. :) Still doesn't even flinch at shots!

For Tita's birthday I took her to see the Nutcracker, which she's been wanting to do for years. Super fun and special date night for us, and we loved the Nutcracker! Taking Dahlia next year for sure.
Dahlia's list for Santa. Lucky girl got everything on her list, and then some. (The last item is My Little Pony, which she spelled herself while I was busy).
Annual cookie making. Milo helped too, with about .5 cookies.
Daddy's shoulders are the new favorite travel mode.
Xmas Eve dinner at our house. Crab and pasta dinner deliciousness, as always.
Gorgeous Leila didn't make it in the pic but she was right there, next to her mama, chillin' in her holiday best.
Matching PJs!
Xmas morning. Hulk-smash, Hulk smash more! Barbie with Wings! Spoiling, and more spoiling. Lucky kiddos.
Then to Tito and Tita's house for more. Milo loves his new sleeping bag.

Tita and Tito got the kids this awesome mushroom tent. Dahlia is also sporting her new Princess Anna dress, from Frozen--the latest major obsession.
After Christmas we had an adventure day to the Golden Gate Bridge with Auntie and Reiss.
We walked halfway across. It was super fun!

No criers this year!
