The Big City

We took our annual adventure to the Dahlia Garden this weekend. It's so beautiful there! This year, Dahlia was actually excited to go as she has been quite interested in recognizing her namesake (and other flowers) lately. As told by Dahlia, our adventure involved traveling "through the tunnel," "going past the little city where Mommy works in a school," "going over the big bridge that's just a little bumpy," "going to the big city where Daddy and Tito work," "going to the Dahlia Garden to see lots and lots of dahlias," "going on the merry-go-round two times" "riding a giraffe (girafa in spanish, which D pronounces hirryaffa) AND a tiger that DON'T go up and down," "playing at the playground--I don't wan't to leeeeaaavve," and ending the adventure with almost eating her entire Gordo's burrito. Oh, and apparently she doesn't like the Bay Bridge going eastbound because "it's really weird." The Big City where Daddy works sure is a fun place!
