Milo is the Best Age

Milo is a hoot right now.  Yes, it's always great in it's own way. But Milo at 15 months is flooring us. He's heaven. He's full of joy. He's so happy and learning and expressing about his world is on overdrive. Though his temper is intense, that has also been fun to discover. He thinks he talks. He thinks he speaks in sentences. We really have no clue what he's saying most of the time, except for "mama," "dada," "hi," "adah," (ball), and "reee" (read). He dances, even to really electronic toys, he finds his groove and gets into it. He dances, he looks at me and gives me this smile, "I know, look at me! I'm the cutest thing ever."And my heart just flips over like a brick. He loves belly buttons. He growls for every animal sound. He copies everything Dahlia does. She screams and runs to the couch, he screams and runs to the couch. He puts on her headbands. He puts on her bracelets. He puts on our shoes. He sleeps! All night long! He stomps his feet lots just to hear the sound. When he's full, he just throws all his food on the floor. He feeds Moongbebe cheese. He gets mad and screams with rage. He scratches and pinches and hits and when you say "no scratching/pinching/hitting" he does it again with a really straight face. He has favorite books ("Moo, Baa, La La La" aka "a wah wah!") and favorite parts within books. Usually once you get to his favorite part, he walks away. He's so ticklish! He snuggles, cuddles, and gives lots of kisses, "mmmmma!"

  1. He loves it when Tio blows on his forehead. He smiles with those big brown (almost black) eyes and looks at Tio like, "What are you doing you silly Tio?"
