What's new? Well, Dahlia is now pulling herself up to standing with ease combined with cockiness. She is beginning to attempt some no handed maneuvers while standing and bouncing and is extremely proud of herself. Grandpa recently began our baby proofing of drawers and cabinets. This is a good thing because she's definitely curious about everything she can get her hands on or into. And everything goes straight into her mouth. She crawls everywhere and has gotten pretty quick. She's graduated into the toy section of Target, which is a crazy bright and plastic place that I guess I will be becoming quite familiar with over the years. She reaches for things she wants and she makes noise when we have something she wants. She loves her books, we read about 5-10 books a day when we're home with her. She eats yogurt, peaches, apples, cottage cheese, squash, egg yolk, pear, green beans and rice.
What is not new? Not sleeping through the night. She wakes 1 or 2 times to nurse. I'm not worrying too much about it. She'll get there.
