Mommy told me there was a request from Adrian that I report on myself. Today is my four month birthday. Here's what I'm all about these days. Mommy and Daddy helped me write this, of course. I'm smart but not that smart.
- I weigh 12 pounds, 11 ounces. (25th percentile)
- I'm 25 inches long. (75th percentile).
- I roll. From my back to my belly and my belly to my back.
- I say "guh, guh" "aaaahhhh," and "uuuuuhh" and am starting to learn this cool thing where I make my lips vibrate together and lots of bubbles come out.
- I laugh when people do funny things to me but then when they do them again to make me laugh again, I don't laugh again. Except yesterday Mommy was making farting sounds on my tummy and it was cracking me up.
- I still like being swaddled when I sleep.
- I LOVE to practice standing. When I'm sad, just let me stand and I'll be happy again.
- I used to go to bed at about 9pm and wake up at 6am, have a snack and sleep for another 3 to 4 hours. But about a week ago, I started sleeping in my crib and now I wake up at around 3am and then every three hours. I'm not sure why I don't sleep as long. Hopefully I go back to the old pattern because mommy and daddy seem more tired than they used to be.
- I don't ever stop moving. Not for a second. I kick my legs, stomp my feet, and wave my arms.
- I like the song "I Will" by the Beatles. Mommy and Daddy always sing it to me when I'm really upset and it helps me a lot.
- I don't take very long naps. Usually they are only 30 minutes.
- I think my hands taste really good. I slobber all over them and get my clothes really wet.
- Mommy always puts socks on me. Daddy always takes them off.
- Strangers who pay attention to me make me smile.
- I don't like pacifiers very much.
- I had my first diaper rash the other day. It hurt.
- My favorite way to be put to sleep is being bounced on the yoga ball.
- I am balding so my hair looks kinda funny. But that's okay. I'm also growing in some really nice fuzzy stuff.
- I use daddy as a climbing post but I don't get very far. I try hard though.
- I'm happy.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!! Wow 4 months already. You are cute as ever. I love your big smile. You are getting so independent by sleeping in your crib. I hope you get use to it real soon so mom and dad can get some more sleep. Well Kaylee can't wait to see you again real soon.
